use:

Sulfur trioxide pyridine complex was used for the sulfation of squid ink polysaccharide (SIP) as a potential candidate compound for preventing tumor metastasis. Pyridine-sulfur trioxide complex is also used in the preparation of sulfated silk fibroin and anticoagulation tests. It is generally used as a sulfonating agent with mild reaction and stable properties; it is often used as an organic oxidant and sulfate esterification agent in the field of biopharmaceuticals.
